Debasri has been working in the publishing industry for over six years, first with Penguin Books and currently with HarperCollins Publishers where she is a senior copy editor. She works primarily on non-fiction, ranging from politics and current affairs to business and culture studies. She manages HarperCollins’s pioneering e-singles programme and its digital publishing imprint, Harper21. In a rapidly urbanizing India with shrinking living spaces and decreasing attention spans, she thinks digital publishing is the way to go.
