Guruprasad D Narayana is a founding member of Aakruti Books a start-up publishing house based in Bangalore. An Engineer turned Publisher, he also runs a couple of book-shops which stocks New, Used and Rare books in both English and Kannada.Being a Literature Enthusiast, he regularly organizes literary meet-ups in the form of Author-reader conversations. He has conducted over 20 such literary events in his short stint of book selling and publishing. He has published over 20 books and dreams of bringing many literature sensibilities from different languages to Kannada and vice-verse. He also runs an online bookshop for Kannada books. He is a bibliophile who has a huge collection of rare books! He occasionally contributes to leading dailies in Kannada.
