Diviya Kapur is a lawyer by profession. She quit the law to come to Goa and start Literati Bookshop & Cafe in 2005. Literati has new and second hand books and hosts book launches, book readings and other events.
Diviya is also currently involved in a mobile library project for children, Bebook. Bebook takes books to children who have little or no access to books. The aim is to make learning fun, with the underlying thought being that A Book can change a child or persons’s life.
