Carlos Fernandes holds an MA, MLIS from Annamalai University, Chennai. In 2006, he was appointed Curator of the State Central Library, Goa. As Curator, Mr. Fernandes was responsible for getting a separate Dewey Decimal Classification Number assigned to Konkani by the DDC Division of the Library of Congress, New York. He has compiled 6 books for research and has edited a book, “Libraries of the 21st Century”.
